Tara loves working with fitness-minded individuals, weekend warriors, and competitive athletes looking to train harder and perform better through natural nutrition and active lifestyles. Tara uses a whole-body, holistic approach with each client, and impleenting incremental life changes in nutrition, health, and fitness.

Tara switched careers in 2004 after a personal injury. She went back to school to study Holistic Nutrition, achieving First Class Honors and a diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition. She is a member in good standing of the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC). Tara also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and minor in Biology from McMaster University. Tara is also a Certified NCCP Triathlon Coach and a Personal Trainer Specialist.

As a practitioner, coach and trainer Tara’s goals are to make nutrition health and fitness accessible to everyone. As an athlete Tara’s goals are to continually push herself and pursue new challenges while being true to her values. Tara is available for Virtual Nutrition Consultations, Corporate Nutrition Seminars and offers menu planning education as well.

Tara is a passionate athlete as well dedicating her free time to endurance running and triathlon and travel. She has completed an Ironman triathlon, 14+ half-distance triathlons, countless shorter distance tri’s including qualifying for both the ITU Age Group World Championships in Sprint and Olympic distance 8 times, and the 70.3 Ironman World Championships twice. She has completed 11 marathons, 5 World Major Marathons and has completed the Boston Marathon 3 times.
