Emma’s interest in health care and athletics started at an early age. As a teenager, she participated in many sports, including rugby, horseback riding, and competed in rowing at a high level. Emma was drawn to the medical sciences during her undergraduate studies. She obtained her BSc Honors in Human Kinetics, Honors Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Athletic Therapy, and diploma in Massage Therapy.
Emma enjoys using her knowledge of human kinetics and therapeutic techniques to work with her patients in various ways to help them overcome injuries and return to healthy, active lifestyles. She has spent many years working with several sports teams in the field, especially football, and has completed additional courses in taping, cupping and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. She also works part-time with an Orthopedic surgeon, where she learns firsthand from the doctor and helps guide patients throughout their recovery and rehab process.
