Zack has over 13 years of experience helping busy individuals pursue a path to optimal health. After struggling with many injuries as a young varsity athlete, Zack graduated university with a specialized Honours in Kinesiology and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Along the way he has worked in a few of Toronto’s fitness and sports medicine clinics, developing physical rehabilitation programs to help clients recover from injury while closely considering psychological variables. Zack’s passion is for helping his clients resolve pain and develop the confidence needed to stay healthy and injury free, while enjoying the activities they love. Zack is currently finishing a master’s degree in Kinesiology with a graduate diploma in neuroscience where he researches the impact of cognitive stress on physiological variables; specifically, the impact that stress has on heart function. Zack believes that understanding stress management is an important factor to understanding mental and physical health. He often uses several biomarkers such as heart rate variability to track his client’s stress levels and allow him to accurately prescribe them with dynamic training programs. These programs aim to achieve successful load management and overall enhanced physical and mental wellbeing.
