Victoria Lavinskas

Specialty: Physiotherapist

Location(s): Totum King Street West

Victoria has been working as a physiotherapist since 2012. She graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy from McGill University, and has devoted a lot of her time to continuing education to keep up to date on the current best practices. She completed her Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy to become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) in 2019, as well as taking courses on running injury prevention, kinesiotaping, myofascial mobilizations and dry needling. Victoria helps the clients she works with by identifying each client’s need through an array of assessment techniques. She then creates a tailored treatment plan to help them return to their meaningful activities.

Victoria has developed a running assessment to help new and experienced runners prevent running injuries, return to running after injuries, and achieve performance improvement. This includes an in-depth look at running shoes and techniques, as well as a tailored exercise and running program to help clients reach their goals.

Victoria also works at the University of Toronto as a teaching assistant in the Masters of Physiotherapy program where she teaches the next generation of physiotherapists.
