Mitchell Bown - Totum Life Science

Specialty: Personal Trainer

Location(s): Totum St Regis Hotel, Totum King Street West

Mitch’s passion for fitness and movement began early, growing up in Newfoundland and New Brunswick, where he developed a deep love for sports, especially hockey. His dedication to the game led him to play at the Junior A level, but with high-level competition came injuries. Through his own rehabilitation journey, Mitch discovered his calling: helping others get back to doing what they love, whether that’s excelling in sports, staying active, or simply moving pain free in daily life.

Mitch earned an Honours Bachelors of Kinesiology with a certificate in Strength and Conditioning from Queen’s University. While in the Strength and Conditioning program, Mitch took on the role of lead student trainer for the Queen’s Men’s Hockey team, while also a supporting role for other varsity teams such as Football and Rugby. Mitch is now pursuing a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. His academic background, combined with personal experience, allows him to take an evidence-based, individualized approach to training and rehabilitation. He believes in bridging the gap between injury recovery and peak performance, helping clients build resilience and strength to reach their goals.

In his spare time, Mitch enjoys spending time with friends and family, golfing, working out, discovering up-and-coming country music artists in Toronto, and has a love for working on cars.
