Kayla Butler - Totum Life Science

Specialty: Physiotherapist

Location(s): Totum Rosedale

Kayla graduated with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2010. She has a true passion for sports and fitness, and has been working in sports rehabilitation since graduating. She loves working with motivated clients looking to reach their sport and fitness goals. Her treatment philosophy is to truly understand the root of a client’s problem, and then use a combination of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to restore function. Her goal is to help clients achieve performance well above their pre-injury levels.

Kayla has completed additional training in acupuncture, corrective taping, soft tissue release, and manual therapy. She became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) in 2017, and specializes in analysis and treatment of complex musculoskeletal injuries. This designation allows her to perform peripheral and spinal manipulations when needed, to help her clients achieve their greatest results.

Kayla is passionate about adventure and the outdoors. When not at work, she enjoys playing beach volleyball, cycling, and swimming. She loves to travel off the beaten path and explore new trails whenever possible.
