Chris Kornacki

Director of Personal Training
Chris is a personal trainer focusing on populations returning from injury. Growing up, Chris participated in a wide variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, skateboarding, snowboarding and trampoline. Following multiple knee surgeries as a teenager, Chris’s athletic endeavors came to a premature end. Uninterested in the riches sedentary life had to offer, he dedicated himself to strength training in the gym. Following other health issues, Chris continued researching health and fitness and eventually became a certified personal trainer in 2007, with an interest in strength and power development.

He holds multiple certifications, and has competed in both powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting. However, injuries continued to accumulate, including three disc herniations, broken ribs, a torn patellar tendon, a torn meniscus and shoulder impingement. These personal battles with injury led Chris to focus his studies on movement dysfunction and injury rehab.

Chris is now the General Manager and Director of Personal Training at Totum’s Medisys location.
