Sophia’s interest in bodywork sparked at an early age and stemmed from the desire to work with her hands and healing of others. She obtained her BA Spec. Honors in Kinesiology at York University; thereafter, her diploma in Massage Therapy at Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy.
Sophia’s approach with bodywork is a combination of deep, specific, and gentle work. Her global focus of the approach is to restore and maintain balance to the body’s natural posture, movement and function. She has helped athletes at all levels of competition, accelerating recovery post-training and performance, and is effective in treating various soft tissue injuries.
Outside of her practice, Sophia enjoys the great outdoors, hanging out with her dog and listening to music while she cooks, and eats, of course.
