Dr. Wishloff graduated from the University of Alberta in 2010, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, and completed her chiropractic studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2016. She is certified in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture (McMaster) and Active Release Techniques® (ART), as well as being a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor. In addition, she is trained in the Webster Technique and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (Prague).
Dr. Wishloff’s treatment approach emphasizes the biomechanical assessment of movement to discover the underlying cause of injury and dysfunction. Her treatments are designed to optimize tissue healing and correct movement strategies. Once free from injury, her treatments transition into performance-specific care to maintain joint health and improve tissue resilience. She has worked with both amateur and professional athletes in a variety of sports, including volleyball, soccer, triathlon, CrossFit, swimming, hockey, football, and dance. She also has an extensive background in the treatment and training of pre- and postnatal athletes.
During university, Dr. Wishloff was multi-sport athlete competing in both soccer and volleyball. She continues to participate in a variety of sports and maintains a regular yoga practice.
