Personal Trainer

My goal as a personal trainer is to motivate and educate clients to improve fitness through the application of exercise science fundamentals. By designing individualized functional training programs that enhance overall experience, my aim is to help each client achieve positive health outcomes. I believe in the importance of mobility to maximize movement during exercise in an effective manner that is safe and beneficial for the body.

Formal Education/Primary Certification

  • Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree with a specialization in Kinesiology from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario
  • National Strength and Conditioning Association, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)


  • 3 years of functional training experience with clients of all ages
  • Extensive experience working with the Totum Youth Summer Conditioning Camp
  • Rehabilitative approach focusing on mobility to maximize fitness benefits
  • Programs are directed towards those who want to maintain their fitness and health while improving quality of life


  • Canadian Red Cross – CPR and AED certified Level C
  • First Aid certified
  • National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certification

Extra Activities

  • Women’s Varsity Water Polo Team, Queen’s University
  • Bouldering, Swimming, Tennis, Alpine and Cross-Country Skiing
  • Further developing both knowledge and skills in personal training; working towards attaining my own fitness goals
