Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care system that combines modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. The Naturopathic philosophy is to stimulate the healing power of the body and treat the underlying cause of illness, imbalance or disease.
Naturopathic appointments range from 30-90 minutes, this time is needed to fully investigate health concerns through verbal discussion, physical exam and specific testing. Naturopathic treatment is tailored to each individual patient’s needs, goals and desires. It can include diet and lifestyle counselling, botanical medicine, clinical nutrition such as vitamins and supplements, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and/ or Intravenous Vitamin Therapy.

You really are what you eat! In order to fully realize your goals whether they are health, performance, strength, or lifestyle focused nutrition needs to be a component of this plan, not an after thought.
In the first appointment we’ll assess your goals, objectives and reasons for coming in. During a nutrition consultation you can expect feedback on your eating habits and we will develop a plan for how to improve your eating that is realistic to you and your lifestyle and in line with your goals. Vitamins and supplements may also be recommended when necessary.
Your nutrition consolations are 30 minutes to 1 hour in length.
Our nutritionist has a speciality in endurance sports and athletics and can help you with your performance based goals though the development of training and racing nutrition plans. She also works with those looking to make more lifestyle based changes.
